Q: Can you tell us a little bit about yourself and how long you have been living in Bali?

A: Sure! My name is Gibs and I have been living in Bali for about five years now. I originally moved here from Australia for a change of scenery and fell in love with the island.

Q: What do you love most about living in Bali?

A: There are so many things I love about living in Bali, but I would have to say the sense of community and the friendly locals are what I appreciate the most. The lifestyle here is so laid-back and it’s a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of city life.

Q: What are some of your favorite things to do in Bali?

A: I love to surf, so I spend a lot of time at the beach catching waves. I also enjoy exploring the different temples and cultural sites on the island, as well as trying out new restaurants and cafes. Bali has such a vibrant food scene, there’s always something new to try.

Q: What advice would you give to someone considering moving to Bali?

A: I would say to make sure you do your research and have a plan in place before moving here. Bali is a beautiful place to live, but it’s important to understand the local customs and culture, as well as the legal requirements for living in Indonesia. It’s also a good idea to have a support network in place, whether it be friends or expat groups, to help you navigate life on the island.

A: Just enjoy the journey and embrace the laid-back lifestyle of Bali. It can be a challenging place to live at times, but the rewards far outweigh the struggles. And don’t forget to take the time to explore all that this incredible island has to offer – from the stunning beaches to the lush rice terraces, there’s always something new to discover in Bali.
